The dental teams that I have encountered from Smile New York Outreach have been very friendly and efficient. They provide a service that has been so helpful for our families, and the scholars seem to get excited to go to the dentist right here at school! I also want to point out how helpful and flexible the school liaisons have been. They are wonderful with communication and provide all materials necessary to ensure a seamless process from beginning to end. I’m truly glad that I encountered this service, and I have already referred others to the program. I look forward to working with Smile New York Outreach again next year.

Untreated cavities can cause pain, infection, and problems eating, speaking, and learning.
About 20% of kids ages 5 to 11 have at least one untreated decayed tooth.
Dental Sealants prevent 80% of cavities in the back teeth, where 9 in 10 cavites occur.
Children without sealants have almost three times more cavities than those with sealants.
